Interactive Installation LufTraum

WHAT: "LufTraum" is an interactive installation for Deutsches Filmmuseum Frankfurt in Germany. The 14m high funnel is projected by 5 projectors to form a continuous screen. Visitors‘ input is visualized individually and can be influenced and played with through several interactive stations spread over the museum‘s stairway across from the funnel.

HOW: We are using a realtime engine based on C++ to bring the wall to life and create a steadily changing and living picture. The visual concept is including generated content design using appealing geometrical forms and multiplications, to make it heavy in contrast and strong in recognition value.

WHO & WHEN: It is a 3 person Master’s project at Hochschule Darmstadt. My part included: Idea, Concept Development, Visual & Design, Interface Design, User Experience Design for museum's visitors.

5 months time for processing, the vernissage was on June 30th 2015. The Installation was ongoing until the end of January 2016
